These adorable scarves are perfect for beginners! They’re worked flat using only knit and purl stitches, with 4 pom poms added at the end (optional). I’ve included two sizes, child and adult, but you can play around with gauge and repeats to make any size that you like.

Sizes: Child (Adult)
Finished Measurements: appx 4” wide x 48” long (appx 6” wide x 60” long) The child size fits most kids ages 5-10 yrs; the adult fits most adults (length may be adjusted for sizing)

Materials:
Yarn: 1 (2) skein dk or light worsted weight yarn (appx 200 yards each)
Needles: US size 5 (3.75mm) needles
Notions: Needle for weaving in ends, stitch markers (preferably 3 different ones).
Pom pom maker of your choice
Gauge: 24 stitches x 28 rows = 4” x 4”
