When the temperature drops and the wind blows, you need the extra warmth that you get wearing a Funnel Cowl. The narrow part of the funnel provides a turtleneck, or mock T-neck. The wide funnel base covers your chest and upper back. It’s not bulky and tucks nicely inside your coat. Wear it over a turtleneck shirt for extra warmth. Or wear it under your favorite shirt for a colorful accessory. Make some for the kids — it won’t fall off accidentally while playing, or get dangerously tangled up at the playground. Friends will appreciate their warm hug. Ditto for the motorcycle riding guy. Make several to donate to your favorite charity groups. In ‘manly colors’ it will be well received at homeless shelters. Make them in wool, for maximum warmth, or in acrylic if washability is an issue.
