This is a super little pattern for using up your oddments of sock yarn and fluffy eyelash yarn.
Beware though….they are addictive!

It uses about 2.5 metres of the 4-ply and 7 metres of the eyelash yarn.
I’ve put some suggestions for yarn choice, but just use whatever you have in your scrap bag. I’ve never had a fuzzhog I wasn’t pleased with and have used many types of yarn.
You will also need a small amount of toy stuffing and a pair of googly eyes for each fuzzhog.
The fuzz, the eyes and his size, mean the fuzzhog is not suitable for babies or toddlers.

I put these along the front of my textiles stall at craft fairs. They catch the eye of children as they pass. Quite often, it gives the grown-ups time to look at my other goodies, so I not only sell the fuzzhog, but a scarf or shawl as well.
Feel free to make these to sell. I’ve set the pattern cost at the price I sell each fuzzhog, so you could cover the outlay with your first sale.

Gauge is unimportant, just relax and enjoy.

I use 6 inch needles and have a selection of remnants I dip into, which makes this project super-portable. It can be carried in a pencil case and a little fuzzy-hog can emerge in a waiting room or on a journey.

My fuzzhogs are about 10cm long but instructions are given for if you’d like a larger fuzzhog.
