Skill Level: Beginner

Gauge: Gauge is not super important to this project, though if your finished coaster measurements come out drastically different, try going up (if yours is too small) or down (if yours is too large) hook size. My finished coaster, pressed flat, measured 3 ¼” for the overall diameter, 1” wide for the top ‘ring/band’ that fits OVER the wine glass base. This coaster/identifier fits a standard wine and/or champagne glass base. Protect your surfaces from condensation and NEVER forget which drink is yours again!

Supplies:
Hook: H
Yarn: Worsted cotton recommended for absorbency, but acrylic will work too.
Elastic hair band, approx 1 ½”-2”diameter(depending on stretchiness of band).
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
