It all started when I got a skein of Bernat’s Glow In The Dark yarn. I thought of glowing things and Hubble space shots came to mind. I made a swatch but didn’t think I had the right yarn or idea for the project. I put the swatch on Pinterest with the notation “Pillow?” Someone repinned with the idea of a pillow for a boy’s room. Perfect! I worked out this pillow then sadly found that Bernat had discontinued the Glow In The Dark yarn. (Oh no!) But happily Knit Picks brought out Brava yarn which I thought would make a perfect pillow for a child’s room. It’s strong, but soft and great to knit.

The pillow is knit in two pieces and seamed. It is sized to fit over a 12in X 16in (30cm x 41cm) pillow form that can be found at a Michael’s Craft Store.
