This market base is knitted in one piece in three sections from the base to the top. A worsted cotton yarn is used for strength and durability. Small plastic Perler beads or pony beads can be added if desired. Adding beads is simple and the pattern includes instructions with pictures.

The bag can be used for a market bag or beach bag. The cotton yarn makes this bag washable. However, do not dry your bag in the dryer if you add beads. Dry flat.

The bag in the first three pictures was knitted with Lily Sugar’n Cream Twist with white pony beads.
