This is an easy fit, pretty, all seasons sweater.
The stitch details on this come from the traditional gansey sweaters of fishermen from the North East of England. The design uses certain elements of these on the yoke, and is reflected on the upper sleeves and lower front and back borders. There is also plently of stocking stitch. The sleeves are worked top down so you could slightly alter the length if you wished.
