Garden City Scarf Worsted Weight
Until the end of May 2011 all proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to the Red Cross who are administering funds for the people of Christchurch who are recovering from a devastating earthquake. We raised nearly $500 which was donated to the Red Cross. Awesome!
Christchurch, the Garden City is my hometown. I wanted to pay tribute to its beauty, and to raise funds for those who are struggling to rebuild their lives in this lovely southern city.
The Garden City Scarf is knit sideways. The simple lace repeat forms an elegant pointed edge when blocked. A lovely, simple knit that will make the most of a single skein of luxurious yarn. The pattern recommends the use of a (preferably digital or accurate) scale to help you use up the entire skein and get the longest possible scarf from your yardage.
Buy a copy of the scarf pattern alone, or purchase the e-book. Those who purchase the e-book will receive a copy of the worsted weight scarf now, and the 4ply shawl version of the pattern.
