CONSTRUCTION
This loose-fitting, compound-raglan pullover is designed to use up all your scraps, leftover yarns, and mini skeins, by holding fingering weight yarns double in all kinds of colours (there are helpful tips on how to organize your yarn colours in the separate digital file, titled Garden Party Appendix). It begins at the back neck, increasing at four points similar to a raglan yoke to shape the shoulders, while simultaneously shaping the crew neckline. Sleeves and armholes are seamlessly shaped in the round as one piece. The neckline is picked up to work the collar. The garment is primarily worked inside-out in reverse stockinette stitch, so that there is very little purling, and is edged simply throughout with one-by-one ribbing. This garment is fitted at the neckline and cuffs, but relaxed at the bust and sleeves.

Two separate documents accompany this pattern: an Appendix for Colour Arrangement and Yarn Management, and Progress Trackers to keep on top of stitch counts per section, provided per size.

SPECIAL TECHNIQUES REQUIRED
working in the round, holding 2 strands of yarn, changing colours.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE
This pattern is size inclusive with nine size options. Using your full bust measurement, choose a size that will give you 4-6 inches (10-15cm) of positive ease at bust (the difference between body’s smaller measurements and the garment’s larger measurements at these points). The most fool-proof method is to measure a similar fitting top in your wardrobe and choose a garment size that matches. See full schematic in photos.

Sample shown on 5’10” body in Size 3 with 5 inches (13cm) positive ease, and 1 inch (2.5cm) added to yoke depth.

You may need up to an 80 inch/200cm cord for working the largest sized yoke at its widest circumference.
