This tea towel is a variation of my original Gardener’s Tea Towel pattern. While corresponding with Tunie (Peacockmom), she confessed to me that she preferred a flat tea towel to a hanging one, thus the idea for this one was born. The instructions for the original pattern remain the same up to the tab at the top. For this pattern, I have reversed the pictures so that your tea towel will look the same from either direction.

Tunie knit this pattern using Rowan Creative Linen in Cloud colour. She used size 3.25 knitting needles, and her finished tea towel weighs 75 gr and measures 11”W x 14.5”H.

I have not knit this pattern and have estimated the finished size should it be knit with knitting worsted weight, as my pattern is designed for.
