Short rows at the corners keep the points sharp and some double decreases keep the eyelets centered for those dishcloth knitters who have a touch of the OCD like I do. This cloth is much more symmetrical than standard cloths, and the principles can be applied to any corner to corner dish cloth.

Update 12/19/08:
In the new version of this pattern I have

  • Removed the back ground image to use less ink and to make it easier to read
  • Integrated the pattern note into the pattern proper so it isn’t missed
  • Moved the instructions for the pointy corners to it’s own sub section, clarified that they are short rows, and provided a link to an online resource for short row instruction for those who don’t know what short rows are.
