You have options! Blocking straight or bias, tassels in the corners (or not), and as a scarf or shawl! Whichever you choose, this accessory will be a warm and cozy addition to your wardrobe. It’s knit entirely on the bias starting at one corner and ending in the opposite corner, while exploring several different stitch variations.

Garter ‘n More has two size options: 12” x 70” scarf and 22” x 84” wrap.

The pattern uses equal amounts of two colors of yarn. For the scarf I used one skein each. For the shawl I used two skeins of each color.

I also included the option to use Apple Fiber Studios Opal because it made a yummy scarf. For the scarf I used two skeins of each color. For the Shawl it would take three skeins each.

I suggest using a 24” US size 8 circular needle.

For the tassels you may need an additional skein (or two if you want to use both colors.

Tassels are super easy to make and I’m sure there are plenty of YouTube videos available. For the length I wrapped the yarn lengthwise around my cell phone. Another use for a smart phone!
