This intermediate level sock pattern creates a beautiful sock featuring garter rib stitch design which is great for self patterning or solid colored yarns!

The pattern is worked in the round using a 40 peg 3/8” gauge loom. Sample uses the CinDWood 3/8” gauge Adult Sock Loom. Other looms such as the knitting board sock loom 2 or the knitting board all in one loom could be used instead.

Pattern fits most teens to adults with notes on how to adjust for different shoe size and length preferences. Links to video tutorials are included to help with certain techniques.

Sample uses under 2 balls (roughly 200 yards) of schachenmayr merino extrafine color 120 in color Amsterdam. Other DK or WW weight yarns suitable for sock making could be substituted instead. Notes in pattern as well as links help you find appropriate yarn. Yarnsub.com is also very helpful!

Stitches used include knit and purl and short row shaping is used for the heel and toe portion which uses the wrap and turn technique.
