Garter stitch gives these mitts lots of stretch for a good a fit. Worked sideways with the thumb at the center, the cast on edge and bound off edge are seamed along the side of the hand. Short rows are used to shape the thumb and give the cuff a snug fit. Knit in a double strand of Heather 2/8, this pattern will work for any worsted weight.
