The inspiration for this simple design came from three places: the Magic Three-Yarn Scarf by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas; Elizabeth Zimmermann’s love for seamless garter stitch pieces and my dislike for left over half skeins.

You may buy new yarn to make this, or use something from your stash. Combine three or many more different threads. Maybe have one plain, one variegated and one self-striping yarn. The sky is the limit. My favorite suggestion is using left overs of garments you may have already done, that way, you will have a scarf that matches all your sweaters and cardigans!

You can also make this in any gauge, just decide how long you want it and cast on accordingly.
