This simple swing coat features Garter stitch wedges worked along the side seams of the back and fronts. Short rows are worked every five stitches to widen the bottom. The Garter stitch is grafted for an invisible seam. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, which are worked top down using short rows to shape sleeve caps.
