Gartlet Shawl
Inspired by ENCORE, ENCORE 2 & FINAL ENCORE, the GARTLET SHAWL (which looks great on both sides) features the same stitch patterns, combined differently in an incredibly versatile (for knitting & wearing), boomerang shape. Starting small, the shawl grows & takes shape, as you perform regular, simple increases & decreases throughout.
This pattern offers HUGE potential for you to create all manner of interesting shawls, from an EASY design that’s also very INTUITIVE once you’ve knit a few rows. I’m sure you will find it to be the source of some great, fun projects to unwind & relax with, anywhere!
EASY INSTRUCTIONS for 3 OPTIONS & there’s also a DO YOUR OWN THING segment, suggesting even more variations. A great stashbuster, for sure! You can also stop at any point, by following some simple ‘end’ instructions.
The SINGLE SKEIN option is perfect for those special, lone skeins languishing in your stash! (see projects for this & other options)
