This is a fun knitting pattern to create felted stuffed animals of a brown grizzly bear and cub stuffed. This would make a great gift for animal lovers. The cub is a good size for a Christmas tree ornament.

Finished measurements: The finished size will always vary due to gauge, yarn, and amount of felting but with the suggested gauge and yarn the bear will be about 7 inches long, 5 inches tall, and 4 inches wide; the cub will be about 4 inches long, 3 inches tall, and 2 inches wide.

This pattern uses short rows, increases (M1 or kfb), decreases (SSK, K2tog), and knitting in the round on DPNs. It is for an intermediate level knitter.

The pattern includes step-by-step photos and instructions on how to felt and add details with embroidery or needle-felting.
