“Gastropoda” is a crocheted scarf with an unusual construction.

The 6-page pattern contains German and English explanations, photo tutorials for the stitches used and for the method of joining. Instructions are charted using standard crochet symbols - you need to be able to read and work from charts if you want to crochet this scarf. Please be aware that due to the nature of its construction, the finished size of this item is not adjustable in length and width by working more or fewer repeats.

Difficulty level: medium to advanced - careful counting required. It also helps if you can keep even tension throughout since you will be making two identical pieces that have to turn out the same size.

Finished size: approx. 90 x 35 cm
You will need - Yarn: 200 g Sal Sim by Alize
You will need - Hook: Steel crochet hook: approx 2.5 mm
You will need - Additional materials: 1 piece of hair elastic in a matching color, 4 cm [1.5 in] in diameter (a shade darker than the yarn is preferred since it will be less visible)
