Yardage/Metreage Required
Main Color: 490 (590, 700, 800)(910, 1010, 1120, 1220) yards / 450 (540, 640, 740)(840, 930, 1030, 1120) meters
Contrast Color (Cumulative): 250 (300, 350, 400)(460, 510, 570, 610) yards / 230 (280, 320, 370)(420, 470, 530, 560) meters

Gateau is designed to show off the delightful little morsels of mini skeins we all love to collect. If you have more colors, or fewer, it is very simple to adjust the number of rows knit with each color, so pay more attention to the total yardage required than the specific yardage of each color when planning your Gateau.

This pattern also includes a coloring book sheet download so you can plan your cake layers before you knit!
