Yarn needed:
I’ve used 2 kg of worsted weight acrylic yarn for my sample blanket of 6x6 octagon motifs.

This project is created using standard crochet techniques, with the addition of special stitches that add beautiful texture to the fabric.
The blanket features octagon and square motifs, along with triangular motifs that help straighten the edges, and a matching border to complete the look of the blanket.

The size of the blanket will depend on the type or yarn that you use and also on number of motifs, but here are some estimated sizes, using #4 worsted weight yarn and a 5 m hook.

Each octagon measures 11”x 11” /23cm x 23cm/

Blanket size, including the border:

Small:16 octagons, 9 squares, 12 triangles 41”x 41” /105cm x 105cm
Medium: 36 octagons, 25 squares, 20 triangles 58”x 58” /147cm x 147
Large: 64 octagons, 49 squares, 28 triangles 76”x 76” /193cm x 193cm
