These socks are inspired by the warm, sunny, carefree days of summer and trips to the ice cream store to cool down and have a sweet treat. We live a short drive from Italy and are lucky enough to travel there most summers and visit their gelato stores. The.big trays of delicious, colorful whipped gelato are a sight to see. This gorgeous hand-dyed yarn from Qing Fibre exudes summery gelato vibes. I wanted to create some sweet socks full of carefree summer memories that can brighten up even a grey rainy day in November.

Construction Notes
Knit from the top down with a twisted ribbed cuff, this sock includes a colorwork pattern on the leg, with a little simple colorwork decoration before the toe is knitted. These socks are knit with a ribbed heel, flap and gusset.
