The Gemini Vest lets you indulge in two of your favorite knitting styles all within the same project - lace and colorwork! This truly unique design shows off a tunic-style vest with a subtle colorwork motif that is echoed with the top front lace panel. By using two different shades of blue for the colorwork portion, the understated motif makes you take a second glance at the intricate details of the Gemini Vest while the Stroll Glimmer adds an elegant shine. The vest begins in the round with a small band of garter stitch along the bottom edge and then moves into the colorwork portion, which is also worked in the round up to the waist. The front and back are then worked separately to the shoulders, which are then seamed along with the sides of the vest. Finally, a simple edging along the neckline and armscyes finish off this sophisticated and chic vest.

You will need US 3 (3.25mm) 24-32” circular needles, or size to obtain gauge for colorwork, US 1 (2.5mm) 24-32” circular needles, or size to obtain gauge for lace, yarn needle, stitch markers, small crochet hook (A or B), stitch holders or scrap yarn.
