I live on Exmoor which is a designated international dark sky reserve; the reserves are classified as public or private areas that possess an exceptional quality of starry nights
Geminids is inspired by the August meteor shower that appears over the moor every year.
Geminids is warm, snuggly & flamboyant, it is designed to be a unisex scarf, if you would like a more subtle scarf I suggest using neutral colours

YARN
Geminids is made with Easyknits Smoke, Smoke cakes & Big Boy yarn (4 ply/fingering weight Yarn, 300 metre’s per 100 gms) You can make it with a combination or any of these 3 yarns.
Easyknits specialises in vibrant saturated colour, which are perfect for such a dynamic design, if you prefer a slightly lighter weight scarf I suggest you use Easyknit’s Deeply Wicked 4 Ply.

Other alternative yarns include
The Little Grey Sheep – Gotland 4 ply. Fyberspates - Scrumptious 4 ply,
Drops Alpaca. Knitpicks Palette Yarn, King Cole - Merino Blend 4 ply

SIZE & TENSION
Geminids measures 11 x 80 inches. If you prefer a shorter scarf you can remove some of the central rows. The Hexagon measures 4 inches from side to side.
