A generic everday mitten pattern for anyone looking for a quick basic mitten. Knit so that either mitten can fit either hand. Chunky yarns makes this a quick project. Enjoy!

Errata: pattern says “Thumb opening: next round, P2” and it should be K2 instead.

Also, when CO 5 sts above the thumb opening, the single cast on (aka backward loop cast on) is the easiest method.
