Reminiscent of sun dappled water flowing over mossy rocks and sand, the Gentle Currents socks are composed of a simple mirrored spiraling lace pattern and highly textured ribbing.

Experience Level: Advanced Beginner.

Size: Women’s small (medium, large) – approximately 7 (8, 9)” leg circumference. Sample sock shown in medium.

Materials:
• 2 skeins Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock (215 yds, 50g), color Tree Frog.
• 1 set of size US0 (2.0mm) double point knitting needles (or size required for gauge)

Gauge: 9 sts/inch in stockinette stitch

Note: These socks will appear much wider than a typical sock with a similar stitch count. This is because the stitch patterns used do not pull in and give the illusion of being wider than they actually are.

The socks are knit from the cuff down.
