This classic cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top-down, the buttonband included. After starting with the high collar and buttonband, the neck and yoke are worked with short rows and raglan increases. Sleeve sts are placed on hold, to continue with the body only. They are picked up again after the body is completed and worked top-down in the round. Broken rib stitch pattern at the collar, hem, cuffs and buttonband produce a slightly textured look, and some subtle lines at the fronts and back add a little extra detail to it.
