Gerald is a nibbler of tender and luscious leaves, especially those at the tops of trees. He is worked is spiral rounds using a worsted weight yarn and US D crochet hook and can be easily upsized - using the same pattern and bulky weight yarn and a US I hook.

A small bag filled with lentils or peas gives him some weight (which he never throws around). Polyfil stuffing gives him some girth. His eyes are beads.
