I love to let the yarn and hook take me randomly where it wants to go, and that’s how The Gerbera Daisy square came to be.

This is the First in a series of 6 floral inspired afghan squares. I hope you enjoy them! :)

This pattern was designed for the DESIGNER SHOWCASE SAMPLER AFGHAN for the Melinda Miller Designs group.

FINISHED SIZE: 12 inches square

MATERIALS: Size H/8/5.00mm hook; worsted weight yarn in desired color(s): 7 yds center color, 1 oz each of petal color, leaf color and 2 border colors; tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Red Heart Super Saver yarn was used for sample project.

GAUGE: Rounds 1-2 measure 2.75 inches in diameter.
