This Shawlette is designed to show off a beautiful hand dyed yarn and make beaded lace accessible. The long collar shape is versatile and great for transitional weather. Wear it up around your neck in the wind or draped over shoulders. Dress it up for a proms and wedding, scrunch it with a jean jacket or flat on your lapels with a business jacket!

A newer knitter can easily tackle this without the beads and get beautiful results. A more experienced knitter will love the challenge of adding that little extra sparkle and wow factor.

Gerberada is knit side to side with lace edging knit on as you go, a simple increase on one side of marker for garter stitch body of shawl and lace pattern on other side of marker. Beads are added using the crochet hook method. The entire pattern repeats in only 18 rows.
