This is the August 2017 pattern for the Six Sox Knitalong Yahoo group!

These socks are worked cuff-down, with a flap and gusset heel and the short-row patterning extending onto the top of the foot. They are best worked with either a multicoloured yarn with long colour sections, an ombre yarn that changes colour slowly, or two (or more!) different solid-colour yarns. You could also use a bright/multicoloured yarn to knit all the scallop sections, and set it off by knitting the plain rounds in black.

Instructions are given for three sizes of sock, and alternate instructions for knitting the foot plain.
