Getting to Know You is a top-down crescent shaped shawl set in an i-cord frame. The shawl body features complimenting garter stitch, eyelet rows and two-color brioche. The brioche creates a soft and gradual color change while the airy eyelets open up the fabric beautifully. A playful slip stitch border reintroduces the color progression, and an i-cord bind off completes the outline of this shawl with a sturdy edge that supports the natural drape of the knit.

The pattern includes written instructions for the provisional i-cord tab cast on and the i-cord bind off. I also recorded a video tutorial of the cast on, you can find it here.
