The Giant Ebola Virus knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions and it only involves knitting flat. This pattern is suitable for a confident beginner/intermediate knitter and the finished virus is likely to be about 19 inches (48cm) tall.

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice)
30g black DK yarn (e.g. Stylecraft Special DK 1002 ‘Black’)
Galvanised wire
Polyfil toy stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing
Pliers
