In Australia, gidday is a colloquial greeting or term for hello. While we do say hello too, our most common salutation is gidday. We may even greet a child or baby with the phrase, “Gidday little fella.” This cardigan is perfect for welcoming babies and children alike; into this world and into your heart.

Gidday is the comprehensive version of the Gidday Baby cardigan.

Gidday is a superbly simple cardigan. A striped garter stitch circular yoke is accentuated with cute buttons and a stocking stitch body.

Construction:
This cardigan is knit top down and seamlessly, with added attention paid to the simple details. The body is knit flat and the sleeves are knit in the round. Simple yarn over increases, which can be worked as a feature or closed, are used to shape the yoke.

Gidday is perfect for accentuating those special yarns.
