Gilded Pinks
by Sylvia Cosh
This cardigan is made by “painting with yarn”-continually adding further strokes of color to build up a tonal pattern.
Every sweater is made in this way is an original, as the number and arrangement of colors is entirely up to you.
Change yarn at least twice within each row, and several times on longer rows, moving gradually from light to dark shades to create a pleasing sequence.
A total of 26(28) ounces assorted yarns, all approximately sportweight, including mohair, plain wool and tweed mixture yarns. Finer yarns can be doubled or stranded with other yarns, to bring them up to a suitable weight.
Additional materials needed:
3 Buttons 1/2in in diameter
