Rich brown soil, after ploughing, slowly turns green as the crops grow, followed by the pale golden wheat ears standing tall against the wind. This simple design highlights the beauty of the yarn, with wheat motifs circling the hat in relief against an unfettered background.

The cast on alternates purl and knit sts (instructions included). The first row of the hat is knit flat before joining to work the rest of the hat in the round.
The Wheat Ears pattern is both written (see Stitch Instructions) and charted (see page 3) for your preference.
