This versatile stitch pattern works well for both men’s and women’s socks and with a variety of different fingering weight yarns - solid, semi-solid, variegated, marled.

1 skein, fingering weight yarn, approx 375-425 yards; sample knit
from Online Supersocke Desert - Color (fingering weight; 75%
wool, 25% Polyamide; 459 yards (420 m) and 100 grams (3.5 oz)

Needles
2.25mm/US1, 32 inch circular knitting needle for magic loop or
dpns, depending on preference for working small
circumference in the round. Adjust needle size for correct
gauge
