The rabbit or the doll is knitted in the round from the top down starting at the neck. The stitches for the arms are left on stitch holders and worked at a later time. The legs are knitted one at the time. The head is attached by picking up stitches around the neck. The ears are knitted separately and sewn to the head, or can be picked up and knitted directly onto the head.
When casting on allow for extra yarn to be used for sewing.
