This is a pattern that I wrote last year, but I was waiting for Christmas to come back around to release the pattern. It comes in 3 sizes: Banty/Small Chicken, Full Size Chicken/Duck and Turkey/Goose.

These are so cute for poultry that you use for therapy, take to nursing homes or schools, the people and kids really seem to love them!

Material List:
Worsted Weight Yarn. I used Red Heart Super Saver. Color for the main part of the hat is Café Latte. I also used white, black (for the smile and eyes) and red (for the cheeks). • H Hook • Yarn Needle • Optional, Pompom

Stitches • Ch= Chain • Sc=Single Crochet • Hdc=Half Double Crochet • Dc= Double Crochet • Slst= Slip Stitch

The models in the pictures are… Aurora- the white one with black speckles. She is a Banty Cochin. Henny Penny- the pretty copper colored one. She is a Giant Orpington. Star- the white turkey. She is a mix of heritage breed turkeys.
