Folkloric fitted jacket with princess-style seaming … enchanting!

With seed stitch sleeves and sides and stockinette on front and back. Sleeve cuffs and pocket are stranded colorwork. Leaves and border on front are a shaped version of intarsia, and there’s an intarsia leaf on the back too. Buttonholes are worked into attached I-cord band. Finished with embroidery. Garment knit from bottom up in 5 pieces (plus pocket).

Formerly available as a kit only, but the pattern has been rewritten and reformatted and now rereleased as a pdf as well.

Finished Size: 33 (35, 37, 39, 41, 45, 49)“ chest circumference. Sweater shown measures 37”, worn over a 36” bust.

Yarn: Main color: Sunday Knits 5 ply (worsted weight): 7 (8, 8, 9, 9, 9, 10) 50-gm skeins. Shown in Brigadoon blackish. Other colors Sunday Knits 3 ply (sport weight; 2 strands worked together for painterly color blending) in Nirvana espresso: 1 50-gm skein, and 1 20-gm skein each of Nirvana cedar, Angelic wheat, and Eden sage, pickle, aster, violet, grape, iris, and curry.
