A cute little purse with a lovely ruffled ginkgo leaf. I designed the leaf during a long, hot summer, thinking of a beautiful ginkgo tree in my neighborhood and the cool fall breezes that would eventually arrive and blow down its cheerful leaves.

I made mine with the autumn colors I had on hand. I hope you have fun trying different color combinations!

Unlike a fitted garment, there is considerable leeway with a purse, so feel free to use the concepts described in this pattern to make a drastically different ginkgo purse.
