This pattern is for a scarf for a teen or adult human (though probably also fine for some kids?).

This scarf features an easy four-row repeat pattern. Make it as long or short as you like! It’s warm without being heavy and takes advantage of the awesome ombre of Knit Picks Stroll Gradient yarn (will also work in other gradient yarns, or in a non-gradient). It has a right side, but both sides are attractive and neither of them is something you’d feel needs to be hidden on the inside/underneath.

This scarf is knit flat on size 4 (3.5mm) knitting needles using fingering weight yarn. This pattern is written and is a snap to memorize, making it a great on-the-go or while-doing-other-things project.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern and you could definitely size up your needles to use a worsted or other weight yarn.
