Pattern Description from Cast On, May-July 2009: “The wool used in this sweater has wonderful insulating and cooling properties - it is perfect for a cool spring morning, a warm summer evening or a crisp autumn afternoon. Wool is comfortable in any season. It is warming in the winter and keeps you comfortably insulated and cool in summer month. Bedouin tribes in the desert wear wool clothing for this very reason. The superwash nature of this yarn makes garment care easy. Be sure to block your swatch and not any changes in size to ensure the garment fits as you expect.”
