Based on a traditional, school-sports’ style, this tunic sweater is immensely versatile and an all-time classic, which makes it the perfect ‘hand-me-down’. Make it in cotton or fine wool. It is working in stocking (stockinette) stitch with a contrast-stitch collar and hem. It has three-quarter-length sleeves and two little pockets to give it simple but useful detailing. The pattern comes in three size, but it is quite a generous fit, so there will be ample room for growth or for incorporating a little T-shirt or vest under it, for chilly days.
