Little girl’s 4-ply dress “for Sunday Best” from Stitchcraft, April 1964.

One size, to fit 26-27 inch chest, length 23 inches (adjustable). Tension: 7.25 sts and 9.25 rows per inch on No. 10 (3.25 mm) needles.

Uses Patons Cameo Crepe 4-ply wool, 9 ozs Sunglint (yellow) No. 101 and 1 oz. White. Knitted on No. 10 needles, with waist ribbing in No. 11 needles and pocket and sleeve cap edges on No. 12 needles. The white trim is a picot crochet edging.

The sleeves are small cap sleeves made by casting on 2x2 sts at the underarm, then adding ribbing.
