This pattern uses 1 6oz skein of Caron Simply Soft. When making larger sizes, ensure to purchase 1-2skeins above that required by pattern.

This hat is worked in a spiral pattern, unless otherwise noted; use a stitch marker to mark ends of each round. Pattern uses half-double crochet (hdc), slip stitch (sl st), Star Stitch (SS) and Crunch Stitch (CS) stitches.

Change to larger hook size to make beret larger; however, ensure to measure on subject for whom beret is intended for an accurate fit.

You will also need a stitch marker and a large blunt tip needle.
