Here is a circular scarf that is actually a multipurpose wrap. Wear it loose and long, doubled for a cowl, as a hooded cowl, as a capelet, as a shrug, as a mini poncho or as a bathing suit cover up skirt. A cord is made to use for the shrug, poncho and cover up.
This is an easy pattern suitable for beginners. Stitches used are double crochet, chain stitch and slip stitch.Worked in the round so it is seamless.
The Silk Bamboo yarn has a lovely sheen and soft texture, not too hot for summer, good for all seasons. Sirdar Snuggly may also be used. It’s also a bamboo blend.
I was inspired by the American Apparel circle scarf. Even though we don’t have that store here in Canada. Somehow I heard about it and was intrigued by this simple tube that can be worn so many ways. So I decided to try to make a crochet version.
Dimensions: total circumference is 60 inches ( 152 cm). width is 15 inches (38 cm)
