Glacier Vest
The Glacier Vest is made from two giant, textured chevrons, conjuring up the image of water slowly flowing and freezing as it trickles down the body. This glacier, however, is cozy armor against the winter, with its furry collar and thick super bulky yarn. Perfect for keeping out the winter chill!
If you are between sizes, choose the next size up. Body panels will look narrow before blocking, but should block to finished
measurements shown on schematic diagram.
The Glacier Vest is rather a dramatic garment but can be dressed up or down. Glacier’s cowl-like collar and pointed hem gives it a flavor of the Tudor era, which makes it ideal for visiting castles and looking romantically windswept on moors. If castles and moors are unavailable, perhaps a Renaissance faire or Christmas market would suffice?
The pattern has been updated to include made to measure instructions. These instructions are for those makers who have trouble meeting gauge, wish to use a different yarn, make modifications or prefer to know how a pattern works.
The pattern is full of full colour photos and is 50+ pages long, including tester photos. There is a video link for the swatch and a linked printer friendly pattern.
In US crochet terms.
