Perfect for wearing during the best day ever, or just for sweeping ‘til the floor’s all clean, this simple striped shawlette is a fun, easy make! Perfect for using sock sets for something other than socks!

Size:
Approximately 22in (56cm) from top to point, 75in (190cm) from corner to corner along the top, and 53in (135cm) from corner to point at the bottom (blocked).

Needles:
I used 4mm (US size 6) needles with a 32-inch cord

Gauge:
Approximately 18 stitches per 4in (10cm) (blocked)

Notions:
• Tapestry needle
• 1 stitch marker

Notes:
• Knit from the top down
• Worked flat on circular needles

Yarn:
• Any fingering weight yarn will work for this project.
• You will need one full size skein, and one mini skein (or a sock set).

The sample I made used:
• Dragon Hoard Yarn, Lore Sock (fingering weight, 4 ply, 436 yards per 100g skein, 85% superwash merino wool and 15% nylon), in the sock set colorway “I’m So Glad I Left My Tower!”
• 120g, 523 yards used.
o MC: 100g, 436 yards
o CC: 20g, 87 yards
o (There was less than 2g left each of both the MC and the CC).
