This simple cowl is designed to display the subtle shifting of colours in semi-solid hand-dyed yarns. It features bands of horizontal cords & stocking stitch.
The cowl is knit back & forth, & is finished with i-cord button and button hole bands.

Materials
Dublin Dye Company Merino DK in Old Gold - 1 skein
4mm circular (or size needed to achieve gauge.)
2.5 mm circular (this is used for picking up stitches; the exact size is not critical.)
6 Stitch markers
6 buttons
darning needle

Gauge:
22 st per 10 cm in stocking stitch
